Hiya, I'm Missy Alison
Hiya, I'm Erin Lackey
Owner of Erin Lackey Photography. I've been photographing Families, High School Seniors, Kids + Pets in Butte County since 2004.
I spent 15 years as an X-ray tech, while photographing families, high school seniors and pets as a hobby. After my sister passed in 2017 I felt compelled to go into portraiture full-time and help the families in my community focus on what matters most.
It's why I love giving back to organizations that strengthen our community.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me serving our church community with my husband Jaymes, running our kids to band practices and competitions, serving on the Oroville Arts Commission and Ensuring the Arts for Any Given Child Committee, volunteering with Rotary Club of Oroville, interviewing amazing people for the Hearts of Gold Podcast, or reading a good book.

I meet with the family in their home or in my Historic Downtown Oroville Studio first to measure wall spaces and plan wardrobes. We design a plan for wall artwork to fit their home's specific style before the portrait session.

The Cinematic Reveal
The family sees their portraits for the first time on a large screen at their ordering appointment. It's an emotional, celebrated event where I guide them through the selection process so they're never overwhelmed.

Finished Heirloom Art
I handle every detail from concept to final delivery. The winner receives finished, legacy-quality artwork ready to be enjoyed on their walls, not files that get stuck on a hard drive or in the cloud.
